It’s a done deal! Hydrogen infrastructure to be developed
The Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development and its industrial partners Air Liquide, Air Products, Daimler, Linde and TOTAL have agreed to expand the network of hydrogen refuelling stations to embrace a minimum of 50 stations, all open to the public.
Involving total investment of over 40 million euros, the German government and industry are to extend the existing network of 15 stations to 50 within the scope of the National Innovation Programme Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NIP). The aim is to test the filling station technology to determine whether it is marketable. The development plan focuses on metropolitan regions and creating corridors to link these regions.
